Success is never be-all and end-all for anyone. After success it is bread buttered on both sides. One fathoms that in modelling, one has to do as the roman’s do. But Amna doesn’t falls in such category; she has created her own Rome, where others have to adjust themselves. A field where mafia seems to be in control as many gurus say, it takes
much confidence and courage to survive in such field. One may cogitate that in fashion field days of survival are numbered, until and only you give cardiac surgeons a tough time, but such is not the case with Amna Shafaat. The famous adage goes, she is beauty with brains. She has proved that the perception of dumb girls joining the modelling field, is dumb in its self.

Either you choose any specific bandwagon, surviving Pakistani showbiz in solitude is impossible. Believe me the mafia in fashion field is not a cock and bull story, rather they are living in clover. Amna has endured the fashion field with scrupulousness and veracity. Her entry in fashion field might have been prudish for her fellow models. It was a fluke neither but moderately it was a good omen. She has never fatigued for wining smile and wining face rather they came as a package from nature, which made her grasp the right field for herself.
There are many itches and pricks in this field, but when you have the right calamine lotion there is no stopping you. One has to be prophetic and apocalyptic with sibylline style to live the norms of this field, but this diva seems to possess them for long now.

Oscar Wilde once said, “I admire the institution of marriage and I believe that every woman should get married – but no man.” Well, we can hardly take his word for it, knowing his lifestyle marriage would be the last thing on his mind!
Marriage is an important aspect of our lives, one not to be dismissed, as companionship is the essence of life. It is about two different people coming together to spend a lifetime in partnership. This is meant to be a union of souls where two people become one. This is not an easy task and requires patience and commitment and complete trust every step of the way.

The four C’s - Compromise, cooperation, communication and commitment are hallmarks of equality in a marriage. Marriage is not like a game of chess where winning is your only goal – Remember girls, when you think you’ve won a war in a relationship, you’ve actually lost the battle in the long run. The problem with us is that we’re always trying so hard to be equal in a relationship, that we forget that trying to have equal rights and a smooth marriage are two very delicate matters, which need to be dealt with tact.
Its not about who wears the pants in the house but the key to winning and staying blissfully happy is about silent power. How does one attain that? Is it through being a submissive wife and keeping your feelings to yourself? I think not, at least not in this day and age. The secret, my friends is to remember that if both of you value each other equally; you will create the best opportunity for love and happiness to thrive. It is when that basic value and respect diminishes, a marriage falls apart. When both partners do not feel short-changed is when feelings of goodwill and cooperation flourish.

What actually became the reason of your foray into showbiz?
I wasn’t motivated as such. It was just by accident I entered this field. It was only later that I realized it was something I enjoyed and would pursue further.
Isn’t it a mere good face the showbiz is all about?
How can you say that? A good face can launch you; it cannot help you sustain if you are not loaded with the necessary talent to go with it. Rewind to the time you got started and let’s take it from there.
I started hosting for The Musik during college and I rank education quite high on my priority list. It started with me completing my O-Levels from Foundation Public School and A-Levels from The Lyceum. I then went for my Bachelor’s degree, for a year, to McGill University in Canada; came back and enrolled in an external programme to get my B.Sc in Economics and Management with the London School of Economics which I successfully completed last year!

How did you get roped into this field?
Maybe the fact that I talk “a LOT” had something to do with it! Seriously though, when I had to return from college due to financial constraints I took a year off to try and see if I could earn my way back, so I auditioned and got picked! The plan to go back to college abroad did not really work out but I was by then earning enough to pay my way through my LSE Bachelor’s degree while staying here. At the same time it has to be said that there is so much room for growth in this field… I myself am starting to produce three new shows for The Musik as well as conceptualizing a few, so if you want to see how far you can go with your creative side this field is great!

Laser hair removal is now the second most common cosmetic procedure in the world and is also rapidly getting fame in Pakistan. It has been used to help both those who are experiencing excessive hair growth because of illness, and those who are genetically predisposed to it.
While the common perception is that laser hair removal is both safe and uncomplicated, it remains a medical procedure. Like all medical procedures, therefore, it is accompanied by dangers and side effects. You’ll need to weigh those seriously against the benefits you stand to gain from finally being free of your unwanted hair.

Laser hair removal consists of a series of sessions over a period of time. There have been cases of individuals who underwent laser hair removal for several years. Hair removed by laser hair removal treatments is not guaranteed to be permanent; it may grow back after several years, so ongoing treatment is sometimes required to maintain the hair loss.
Anyone planning to undergo the treatment should become educated on the possibility of the laser hair removal danger which accompanies it, and the precautions which will minimize the risks of post-treatment complications.
The Dangers
Laser hair removal requires anesthesia, and one of the laser hair removal dangers, although unlikely, is that someone might attempt to self-inject. Injectable anesthesia should only be administered by medical professionals, so they are not considered appropriate for hair removal procedures. Topical anesthetics are preferred.
A more common laser hair removal danger is that those undergoing it will expose themselves to the sun less than a week before, or immediately following, their treatment, and suffer swelling or burns as a result. They will receive a warning about this possibility from their doctor before their initial session.
